Calm Down, Bloggers

Thursday, March 26, 2015

That's disgusting how many judgmental messages are flying around Twitter at the moment. And it all comes from bloggers offending each other's subjects of writing. Like what?

Frankly speaking, I instantly unfollowed those people as I definitely didn't want to watch that fight. That dumb fight.

I understand if you write mainly about lifestyle or even, for example, computers, at first time it can hard for you to get it why there are girls who enjoy reading/writing about makeup. Of course, that is boring for you, but interesting for others. And it definitely doesn't mean these people are stupid.

However nobody needs your negative review. This opinion should be kept by yourself. Would you feel happier if offend anyone? Simply respect people's choice. It doesn't effect you and totally not your business. Contrastly, in my opinion we must support each other despite various directions we are going. Also I bet there isn't anyone persuading you reading and visiting blogs you don't fancy at all.

No doubt, such situations happen not only with beauty bloggers but with lifestyle, fashion and etc. I bet there isn't anyone persuading you to read and visit blogs you don't fancy at all. So why are people doing that and then bitching about it?

What's the aim of turning our happy place in a theatre of war?

  1. I think you're involving in the fight at the minute you decide to write this post. I really don't understand all that blogger fights when at the end we all are part of a big community and we should support each others. As bloggers we are exposed to bad criticism and I think we should just ignore all the negativity or take the best of it and focus in growing our blog instead of being part of all that craziness.

    1. Well, I haven't written anything bad about those bloggers or offended them/their hobbies. So I'm out of the fight. My blog post is simply a little message for everyone in this community.
I'm sick of the bloggers arguments too and totally agree with your opinion.

    1. There was an argument between some beauty and lifestyle bloggers in the begging of the week on Twitter.

  3. I didn't see any arguments but I defintiely agree! In the blogging world and the world in general I think if you don't have anything nice to say simply do not say it. Why would you want to insult someone or hurt their feelings just because you happen to disagree with their interests!? Great post!

  4. I haven't seen any nasty tweets on my news feed, but I feel awful that there are people like that who think beauty bloggers are stupid! Just because they like beauty products and probably spend a lot of their time talking about them, does not make them stupid. In fact they are intelligent in a more creative, arty way as they often provide inspiration make up wise. I have gotten inspiration from face of the day or make up of the day posts from different lipsticks or eye make up for example. Also they can provide consumers with well needed consumer information before they decide to buy products. I have ended up loving products I bought because of beauty bloggers.

Those people should mature and appreciate the fact that people have a hobby in another area to them instead of insulting them.

    1. That what bothers me the most! If I wear/love makeup, it doesn't mean I'm fake and have nothing in my head.
