As much as I love winter and snow, my skin seems not sharing such interest with me. It becomes dry, irritated and if I don't pay enough attention, I quickly say goodbye to a good skin days.
Some of you might probably experience this problem too, so I decided to tell you about my Winter Survival Kit. By the way, I am always up for discovering new amazing skin care products for cold seasons and if you have any suggestions or similar posts, please, leave it in the comments down below!
First of all, what does the kit include?
- Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub
- Láncome Bienfait Multi-Vital Night Cream
- Neutrogena Lip Balm
Without three products listed above, it is nearly impossible for my skin to survive during winter. Well, maybe that is slightly overdramatizing, but I hope you still understand what I am trying to say.
My lips get extremely dry and cracky. Lip balm does a great job, however it surely can't remove chapped pieces of skin and that is the moment when Lush lip scrub becomes super handy. I have already written a full review on this product, in case you fancy a nosey. In a nutshell, it pretty much does the same thing as regular scrubs, but also hydrates your lips because one of the ingredients is jojoba oil. Right now I use lip scrub every evening and at the rest of the year I only use it before applying bold lipstick or whenever I feel like my lips need some sort of pamper. I highly suggest you giving Lush lip scrub a try!
The second is Láncome night cream which is my latest discovery. As you can see the packaging is tiny because it is a sample, but I am planning on buying a full size. Also, need to mention this one is a night cream, so when I wake up my skin is like almost perfect: with healthy glow and hydrated. Besides, since the moment I started using this moisturizer, I get much less breakouts, which obviously makes me love it even more.
Last but not least, Neutrogena revitalizing lip balm. that keeps my lips nice and soft throughout the day. It comes in five different tints and you can choose the one you like the most. Mine is Soft Caramel, beautiful beige nude. I always throw it my in my hand bag just in case my lips need some extra care when I am out.
