Stay Matte
Saturday, November 14, 2015If you have oily skin or constantly struggling with shiny forehead, then say hello to your new best friend - Stay Matte powder by Rimmel. I literally can't imagine my life without it anymore.
It is not a secret that this powder is many girls' must-have, so I decided to give it a try too. To be honest, I was quite unsure whether I actually will end up loving this product as I have been in sort of a love/hate relationship with powder since forever. I mean, I own a few, but had never really paid that much attention nor it'd been an essential step in my makeup routine. Until now.
Stay Matte has become one of my favourite makeup products and I am 100% I will be repurchasing it million times. First of all, there is no cakey after-powder effect. Second of all, my skin remains matte for hours and hours. Third of all, lasting power of Stay Matte is actually impressive as for drugstore product.
You want it even believe how self-conscious I used to feel about my forehead that *sarcastically* shone brighter than my future, lol. Blotting sheets manage to somehow reduce it, but not as nicely as I wish. Yet Stay Matte slays it. So, if you want to wave goodbye to forehead glare too, then I highly recommend this powder!
On another hand, one of my most used phrases is 'Oops, I accidentally broke it', hence I am a bit disappointed at quality of packaging. It could have been made better. I don't ask for a crappy mirror or brush, just something more stable that won't break once it hit the floor.
What do you think about Rimmel Stay Matte?

I break these more than I actually use them, they are so bad for breakages! I do use this powder, it does the job, but I admit I haven't tried many others. But for the price i'm keeping with it! I'll happily pay a little bit extra for better packaging though! x

I agree, it's a pity that such amazing product has such terrible packaging. As being one of the clumsiest people in the whole world, I'm scared I'll break it very quickly.
DeleteI agree about the poor packaging too, mine is also currently broke! x
ReplyDeleteOh no! Broken makeup is heartbreaking :D <3

ReplyDeleteSo happy you like it as much as I do.
