Maybe I'm the most typical beauty obsessed girl: my suitcase is not packed yet, but I have already sorted out makeup bits and bobs I'm planning on taking with me on my little getaway to Croatia. According to good old b-blogging traditions, I decided to sit down and type away a quick peek inside of my holiday makeup bag.
The first product I put was Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation. It's my go-to foundation for a sunny season because A) it provides a glowy&healthy skin finish; B) the shade of this foundation, Soft Beige, is my ideal pick once I'm tanned. Another holy grail Rimmel goodie that is going on holiday with me is Stay Matte powder. This time, I'll probably skip a huge ramble explaining why this is the best powder ever. As for concealer, I obviously went for NYX HD one. Once again one of my favourite face products. Then to add a bit of colour to my face I grabbed Bourjois Chocolate bronzer and Maybelline Fit Me blusher in "Medium Nude". Of course, I'm bringing Maybelline Baby Skin primer too. At last minute I also decided to throw The Body Shop All-in-one BB cream in my makeup bag just in case I'll need very minimal coverage.
Recently I have changed my eyebrow routine - all about those risks in life, YOLO - and two products I'm currently using are Maybelline Brow Satin as well as Maybelline Brow Drama. There's already a review on the second one on the blog, which you can read here. Soon I will write all my thoughts on Brow Satin too, so look out for that!
The only eyeshadow palette I take is UD Naked 3. To be honest, whilst being on holiday I can't be bothered doing fancy eye makeup, so I'm taking this one to slightly doll myself up in the evenings if we go to rather a nice place for a meal.
Is that a surprise that I'm bringing Lash Sensational on the trip? Yup, I do use other mascaras every now and then, but only if I can't find this one, LOL.
Lastly, I'm quite proud of myself for putting three lipsticks in the makeup bag! Two on a nude side - Rimmel Kate Moss in 42 (giving it a second chance, read more here) and Maybelline Vivid Matte in "Nude Flush" - as well as darker one - Maybelline Matte lipstick in "Divine Wine".
