One Palette. Three Looks.
Tuesday, August 18, 2015Can you imagine that only couple of weeks ago I bought my first Makeup Revolution product? I didn't choose life under a rock, it chose me, lol.
Anyway, it is not a secret that MR is well-known for their low prices yet amazing products. Most of the reviews are only positive! I decided to try out one of their eyeshadow palettes. You know, I have a thing for palettes now. So, let me introduce you to Girls On Film. Full review is coming soon, but today I am going to show three of my favourite looks created with this gorgeous goodie.
To begin with, I put photo with the names of each eyeshadow as it is easier to me and more comfortable for you to keep up with my steps of doing makeup.
Eyeryday With Darker Colour
The first one is probably my most favourite one, I prefer having a bit of eyeshadow on my eyes even if it is everyday makeup. I think that makes my eyes look more awake and pretty. By adding eyeliner you can easily turn it into night look.
- I use Girls On Film all over my lid and also on brow bone to hide any veins as well as to highlight eyebrows.
- Next I grabb fluffy eyeshadow brush, gorgeous shade Give Me Shudders and focus on the outer corner of the eye, then blend it in the crease.
- With a bit of Give Me Shudder on the brush, I also define bottom lash line.
Quick and easy!
Trendy Gold
We can possibly call golden eye look the biggest trend of this summer. It was everywhere!
To be honest, I didn't know what to expect from gold shimmery eyeshadow. If last year you asked me to put it on my eyelids, I would laugh and weirdly stare at you *WHO DO YOU THINK I AM? DOLL?*
Nonetheless, on one boring day I was playing around with makeup and finished up with wearing gold colour on my eyes. Wow, it looked amazing. Since then I have understood what the fuss is all about.
This palette has some nice shimmer shadows to creat such look too!
- If I want to go super crazy and make my eyes sparkly, then I start off with Walking Hand In Hand all over my lids.
- Then add Heads Turning in the crease, mostly near the outer corners.
- Here is when magic happens! Take Your Picture is the most beautiful golden eyeshadow I yet have seen. As soon as I saw Girls On Film on the web site, I knew I was going to be obsessed with it. And I am. I mainly focus on the middle of the eyelid with it.
Voila!
The Brightest
I get it that it is not exactly the number one thing you should pay attention when buying makeup, but I prefer weird, cool or sarcastic notes in names of products.
In this palette the name of the darkest eyeshadow is So Bright. I mean, guys, you nailed it.
Therefore, I couldn't resist not putting it in my post. I don't usually apply anything darker than brown on my eyes, so I thought I would try out something new.
- First of all, Make A Million on the lid.
- To add a pop of colour, I took Hold Tight, deep navy shade, and added it in the outer corners.
- Then it is time for So Bright! I blended it with Hold Tight which I guess gave some smokey vibes.
Let me know which one you like more!
Also what do you think about such type of blog posts? I currently love reading them on other blogs, so I thought why not to bring here wave of something new. Would you like see more of these?
