Recent Empties

Wednesday, April 06, 2016

To be honest, whilst collecting products for this post I faced some funny and awkward moments. My mum thought I'm going insane for keeping empty bottles, 'Honey, are you sure you need them? Let me throw them away for you' :D. Anyway, here are my recent empties!

Batiste Dry Shampoos
I recently ran out of two bottles of Batiste Dry Shampoo. The first one was Fruity&Cheeky Cherry and another one was Coconut&Exotic Tropical. There is actually a full review of Fruity&Cheeky Cherry on my blog, which you can read here. In my opinion, Batiste does amazing dry shampoos. I know that some people complain they leave the white cast on the hair, but for me, it worked wonders. Will I repurchase? YES!

L'Oreal True Match Foundation (review)
I know, on the bottle it says another name. The weird thing is, sometimes brand tend to change names of the products for different countries. Anyway, True Match is hand down a fantastic foundation. In general, I think L'Oreal makes the best drugstore foundations! The quality is great, the shade range is wide and the price is reasonable. Will I repurchase it? No, but just because I want to try out another foundations!

Lush Tea Tree Water
Probably my most favourite Lush product from the ones that I've tried. I usually used it during my evening skincare routine to get rid of dirt and bacteria that collected throughout the day. Also, Tea Tree Water helped me a lot in decreasing amount of spots when any another product couldn't! Will I repurchase it? 100% yes!

Maybelline Dream Pure BB cream for oily skin
This is my holy grail BB cream. It's so good that I could ramble about it for days without a problem. First of all, it keeps my skin from getting shiny. Second of all, it also worked for me as a good skincare product because there's Salicylic Acid among the ingredients.  Even though this Maybelline BB cream doesn't give full coverage , sometimes it performed better on my skin than any another foundation. Will I repurchase it? Yes!

Essence Stay Natural Concealer
Very good concealer for dark circles, which stays on for most of the day. Yet there is one thing I don't like at all. You go through a bottle of it in a blink of the eye. Therefore, I wouldn't really recommend this concealer for everyone. But if this doesn't get on your nerves, then definitely give it a try!

Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire
I'm really bad at describing scents, so all I'm going to say that it is fresh, enigmatic and elegant perfume. I've been using it for a few years and I'm slightly upset about the fact the bottle is empty now :(

Let me know if you used any of these products too and what do you think about them? x

  1. I agree that the Essence concealer runs out so fast, but it's a great and affordable option.

    1. It surely is a good option, but I don't think it's a product worth sticking to. Although everyone has own taste and opinion x :)

  2. Oh my, my Mom's exactly the same! Like, no, I need this for my blog, please leave it alone! 😅
I love Maybelline's BB Cream as well, but even the light shade is too dark for me so I'll have to wait until I've tanned to use it again.

    1. Haha, mums are cute 😂😊
What a shame! To be honest, Maybelline could work harder on developing more shades as product itself is amazing.
