Trying Out L'Oreal Infallible 24H Foundation
Saturday, April 09, 2016I might or might not I have a thing for L'Oreal foundations. In my opinion, they are the best ones you can find in the drugstores! So when a sad moment came and I ran out of my trusty True Match, I already knew I will end up standing in front of L'Oreal counter again.
If you read my previous post, you already know that although I enjoyed using True Match, when it comes to foundations I prefer experimenting, so instead I picked up the Infallible Stay Fresh 24 Hours foundation. Do I need coverage for 24 hours? Nope. Nonetheless, that fact attracted me to this product like bees to the honeypot. Anyway, let's see what the fuss is all about.
This foundation has slightly thicker formula than the one that I'm used to. It provides medium to full coverage, depending on how much product is applied. However, I need to point out that it isn't super cakey and gross on skin. In contrast, once blended well, it feels weightless and doesn't melt down at all.
Infallible Stay Fresh has a really nice semi-matte finish. My skin type is combination and I tend to get oily on the forehead throughout the day. But this goodie, alongside Rimmel Stay Matte powder(read my review here), keeps me non-shiny for hours and hours. Following this further, I don't think I would suggest it to those of you who have very dry skin: you might end up with dry patches.
Oh, and let's have a moment to fangirl over the scent of it. That typical L'Oreal makeup scent. Am I the only one who absolutely adores it?
I haven't had chance to test out if Infallible 24 Hours foundation stays on for the entire day, but I have this strong feeling it would actually hold up to what it promises. Overall, this is an amazing product and I have nothing but only positive things to say about it.
Have you tried out Infallible Stay Fresh foundation yet or planning on purchasing it?
Another what I'm super excited about is *drum roll* my new blog design. Yeah, if it's the first time you decided to check out my blog since pink&hearts&Godknowswhatlayout, then hi, you haven't followed new blog, it's still me, haha! I need to hear your thoughts on it! Do you like it? Is there anything else you think I should improve?
I'm so happy that I finally got around to letting go old design - I'm sort of sentimental - and changing everything I didn't like. Not going to lie, as cheesy as it is, this slightly feels like a new page in the life of my little blog.
Thank you very much for visiting my blog ♡

Love your new blog design! I've not had much luck with any L'Oreal foundations as they always make me look as if I have massive pores! I have to say I do love the packaging and am looking more into drugstore foundations recently! xx

Thank you so much Caroline x
DeleteWhat a shame that L'Oreal foundations don't work well for you :(
Another option for good drugstore foundations is surely Rimmel!
I'm huge fan of L'Oreal foundations too. I love the new true match. I've tried this, I didn't love it. It was a while ago though. I will dig it out and give it another go :) xx

I think some people might not enjoy using L'Oreal Infallible foundation as it is quite thick and provides full coverage - some girls even skip concealer - and not everyone is a fan of that x
