Dear Hair, I Do Care
Tuesday, September 01, 2015Hair care was something I did not pay enough attention to. Shampoo on a shelf, yeah, cool, it is all I need. Actually it is not.
I started obsessing about trying out new hair care products around May this year. There was couple of good offers in the shops, so I gave them ago and that is how it all began. I can't exactly say this time consisted only of good experiences. YOLO, lol!
Right now I have only few products I tend to use on a regular basis. Of course, my collection/routine is yet to grow. So, if you have any recommendations, I would be happy to read about them.
As you can see from the photo I kinda fell in love with two L'Oreal products. Extraordinary Oil has already been mention on my blog in December Favourites, but Fibrology Thickening Shampoo is a new discovery. I heard different opinions about the last one and wasn't sure whether I should or no give it ago. Soon after Gabriella aka velvetgh0st in one of her videos said this shampoo actually works, the decision towards it has been made.
Speaking about Extraordinary Oil first, I constantly question myself how I managed to survive most of my years without using any hair oils. It literally has turned my life upside down. If your hair is also slightly frizzy, untamed hair as mine, I highly suggest you trying it. Thanks to this L'Oreal oil to my hair now looks a lot more healthier, shinier and silkier. Almost a dream, I guess? It is even my second or third bottle! I also have couple of trick with hair oil, but I'll probably leave it for the future post *wink wink*
Have you ever grabbed a shampoo bottle, read all a huge list of all that exciting things it should do with your hair and... Put it back on the shop shelf. Yup but L'Oreal Thickening Shampoo 100% doesn't belong to those. Okay, obviously I haven't noticed any changes in five days or whatever it says, but this product does a job - that is all I require. Thin hair has never been in the bag of my problems, but I still wanted a little bit more texture to it. About two month are gone and I can see a noticeable difference this shampoo made to my hair. First of all, it now grows a lot faster. Second of all, it is now a lot more thicker. In a nutshell, I loooove this shampoo. And my hair seems to love it too haha.

I am not too pushed about my hair routine either. I got little sachets for free in Uni of that fibrology shampoo and conditioner. I think it's brilliant. I just use a coconut shampoo and conditioner and coconut oil in my hair. I am trying to grow mine out fast so please send recommendations if you have any.
